Why knowing someone’s birth order allows you to communicate more effectively with them

When working with patients I try to match the treatment to their birth orders.

This is the story of one patient a man in his 20’s.  He was 6 ft. 4in and well over 250 lbs.

I knew he had a number three birth order.  This is a person who is laughing on the outside but crying on the inside.

They are extremely sensitive but will try to hide this trait.

When I told him, we would only use the lightest forces to move his teeth I could see and immediate sign of relief.

He said. “I’ve been told this is very painful and was dreading the treatment.  It’s good to know you understand how I feel.”

Knowing someone’s birth order is a great way to unmask them.

I am Dr. Robert Hurst author of Life’s Fingerprint: How Birth Order Affects Your Path Throughout Life. I am an Orthodontist and have been observing my patients for over 50 years seeing how their birth orders affected their lives.

I would like to share with you how I use birth order to help my patient’s see who they are and why they act the way, they do.
